Precision Manufacturing Insurance Services (PMIS) Strengthens Commitment to Protect the Manufacturing Industry with Jonathan Dochterman as the New President
Santa Ana, CA – February 14, 2019 – Precision Manufacturing Insurance Services (PMIS) has named Jonathan Dochterman President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Jonathan has been with PMIS since 2010 and has served as Executive Vice President of the company since 2014. He moves into his new role, as Michael Dochterman, PMIS Founder and former President, passes the leadership on to a second generation who will continue the company’s commitment to “Protect the Future of Manufacturers.”

About Jonathan Dochterman
Jonathan provides operations leadership for product, pricing and risk management that aligns with PMIS’ strategy as a niche broker for precision manufacturers. He serves as a consultant to PMIS clients, advising them on risk-management issues and creating insurance programs that protect their futures in the event of a loss.
Jonathan previously worked in the Global Risk Management Casualty Department at Marsh, Inc., the largest insurance brokerage in the world, where he served Fortune 500 clients. He left the firm to join his father, Michael Dochterman, and co-founded PMIS. The launch of the company fulfilled their dream of building a family legacy insurance brokerage firm.
Jonathan received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He serves on the Board of the Los Angeles Chapter of National Tooling and Machining Association (LA/NTMA) and the West Coast Spring Manufacturers’ Association. Jonathan currently resides in Aliso Viejo with his wife Ashley, his son, Ashton, and his two daughters, Hailey and Annabella. He enjoys spending time outdoors, going off-roading, hiking, surfing, and training for Spartan races.
